"The GW Institute for Korean Studies’ summer study abroad program in Seoul offered fifteen students an opportunity to learn about Korean identity, division, reunification, and the economic differences between the two Koreas. The participants visited numerous important sites and organizations in Korea, including the DMZ, Inter-Korean Transit Office, UN Human Rights Office Seoul, the Constitutional Court of Korea, Hana Foundation, the U.S. Embassy, LG Corporation, SK Telecom, and historical museums. It was extremely rewarding to see how the program illuminated the participants’ studies and motivated them to pursue even deeper study of Korea."
