Responsibilities & Experience:
Colleen has decades of experience in the international education field. She previously worked as a Director of the Center for International Education at Saint Xavier University and as a Senior Associate Director for Education Abroad at Pace University. At The George Washington University, she plays a key role as the International Operations Analyst for Travel and Safety in the International Programs Office, analyzing high-risk travel proposals and advising senior leadership on risk mitigation strategies across the institution. Colleen provides institutional training on the University’s travel policy and travel registration system, and monitors safety conditions and evolving situations affecting the health and safety of GW travelers. Colleen provides front line emergency consultation and thought leadership for students abroad in emergent situations, including recommendations for medical assistance and extraction as needed.

Colleen holds a BA in French and International Relations from Colgate University and a MA in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University.
