International Summer is an opportunity for visiting pre-college, undergraduate and graduate students to engage in coursework at GW as part of a dynamic international community.

The Multicultural Student Services Center

 The Multicultural Student Services Center reflects our dedication to building a welcoming, enriching, and inclusive environment at GW. It provides support for a variety of student communities on campus, sponsorship of cultural events, and diversity training and advising.

International Buddy Program

The Columbian College of Arts and Sciences' International Buddy Program pairs international graduate students with mentors, helping new students get acquainted with D.C. and the university.

Each year, GW welcomes scores of international students who enroll in academic programs under the sponsorship of their home government, non-governmental organizations, or a private individual or entity. Also known as GW Global Scholars, these students represent many countries and engage in study in a variety of academic disciplines in undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree programs. 

GW Global Scholars contribute to the vibrant cultural and academic life of the university and are supported by a number of offices throughout GW.
