Experience:
Melissa has over a decade of experience working in the university setting.  She has held various positions within higher education, including as adjunct faculty of music at the University of Rhode Island and Salve Regina University. At The George Washington University, she contributes to the crucial functions of forming and maintaining University-wide international partnerships, along with overseeing the governing agreements for international engagement.  Melissa's responsibilities include liaising between the GW community and international partners, training GW staff and faculty on the agreements process, bringing international agreements through their approval process, and providing administrative support to the Office of International Programs.

Education:
Melissa graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with a Music and Theatre emphasis from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Interesting Facts:
Melissa is a classical pianist and has been playing the piano since the age of 3. She sings with The Washington Chorus and is a certified advanced scuba diver and sourdough bread baker.
