The Multicultural Student Services Center

GW Global Scholars

Hakim Jan, a Fulbright Scholar from Afghanistan, discusses how international exchanges empower global citizens.

Each year, GW welcomes scores of international students who enroll in academic programs under the sponsorship of their home government, non-governmental organizations, or a private individual or entity. Also known as GW Global Scholars, these students represent many countries and engage in study in a variety of academic disciplines in undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree programs. 

GW Global Scholars contribute to the vibrant cultural and academic life of the university and are supported by a number of offices throughout GW.
